We are useing Joomla! CMS (Content Management System) to build the church's website for youth conferences.
Joomla! makes it easy to build a website just the way you want it and keep it simple to update and maintain.
Joomla! is a flexible and powerful platform, and usefull for building a suitable site for church activities and conferences. Joomla is open source, which means you can make it work just the way you want it to.
With Joomla! we built the function of registration and payment as this is done simultaneously. If you don't pay the fee, there is no registration done.
The History of FESTINORD
Please contribute with what you know about FESTINORD and when it all started and later changed.
The first FESTINORD was the summer of 1966 and was in Gubbängen, Stockholm, Sweden. The following year 1967, it was in Copenhagen, Denmark.
To begin with, was FESTINORD for young people from age 14 but later modified to apply from 18 years and was every year. But later it was changed to every two years but was changed back again.
When this happened we do not know but you can help with details.
