Travelling to Nyköping

Here we have tried to gather all information you might need to get to Nyköping. We recommend that you first of all check if your stake has arranged a bus to Festinord. If not, the following information will help you to get to Nyköping. Participants will be sleeping in three different school buildings close to each other. But registration will be made at Tessin skolan, so make this you first destination.

By car:
Going from Stockholm to Nyköping by car takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes and is a 100 km ride. Get your directions online.

By bus:
Taking a bus from Stockholm city to Nyköping will take you 1½ hour and tickets are about 70 SEK for a one way ticket. Book your tickets to go by bus here (website in English).


By train:

From Stockholm city the train to Nyköping will take you approximately 1 hour and tickets are about 100 SEK for a one way ticket if you book in time (For students or under 25 years old). You can book tickets and find more details about travelling by train here (website in English).

By “air”:
You can reach Stockholm Skavsta airport from over 50 destinations around Europe with Ryanair. Skavsta airport is located 7 km away from where the conference will be and you can easily get Nyköping city with the local buses.

If your closest airport doesn’t fly to Skavsta you can also fly to Arlanda which is located 30 min north of Stockholm. You will then first have to take a shuttle or train from Arlanda to Stockholm city and change in Stockholm for bus or train to Nyköping. (You can also buy a ticket from Arlanda to Nyköping by train. You will still have to change train in Stockholm, but is will be cheaper.) Here you can book tickets from the airport to Stockholm by train or by bus (both websites in English).
